Baha'is From Around The World T he members of the Petaluma Baha'i Community come from all walks of life and from various faiths.

One of the most important teachings of the Baha'i Faith is that there is only one God and that all the religions are one, only the message and the Messengers change to meet the needs of the times in which they appear to mankind.

Because of this belief, the local Petaluma Baha'is strive to work together with all mankind to promote a future of peace, scientific advancement, religious harmony and global understanding.

IF YOU BELIEVE:

In one God (Who is called by many different names)

That mankind is one human race

That science and religion must come into harmony

In the equality of men and women

That only through spiritual means can true peace be achieved

That real Truths are universal to all major religious teachings

That to serve others is to serve your Creator...

Then you are probably a Baha'i!

Many of the members of our local community first heard of the Baha'i Faith through people they had watched in their daily lives and admired for their loving kindness to all those around them. The Petaluma Baha'is believe in working together in Petaluma to promote the realization that world peace is not only possible, but an inevitable outcome of the forces we see changing the world around us, bringing us all closer together.
